DESCRIPTION:Join the Lions on their annual Veterans’ Day Parade float! \n***Freeze Warning\, dress WARMLY*** \nWith special thank you to Georgia Southern University Police Department\, we will ride on their trailers. Yes\, you will have the opportunity to walk and wave! We will follow the Savannah VA Clinic in the parade. The adjutants will line up the participants on Lincoln Street South behind them. Check in at East Park Avenue and Lincoln Street between 8:00 and 8:30. The official start time is 10am. Plan on 2 hours total time. The parade will disband on East Broad Street and the Lions’ float will take you back to your vehicles. \nCall Lion Bard or Lion Becky for further instructions!

The trees will arrive early and Lions need to be on site at 8am or as soon after as able. \nThere will be jobs for Lions of all abilities! \nWear long sleeve shirts and bring gloves. \nThe Salvation Army Cantina will be on site with coffee\, snacks\, water\, etc. Lion Bard will be cooking hotdogs and sausages for lunch. \nThis day is a lot of work but also a lot of fun\, we hope to see you there.
