SUMMARY:Lions Day at Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind
DESCRIPTION:For 50 years\, Georgia Lions Camp has been changing lives through the dedication and generosity of Lions across our state. Join us for one of our favorite traditions of the summer—Lions Day 2026! \nMeet the campers\, get to know staff and volunteers\, tour the camp\, and see firsthand how your support creates unforgettable experiences for children and adults who are blind or visually impaired. \nThis year’s event includes: \n\nCamp tours\nA Memorial Garden Brick Placement Ceremony\nOpportunities to fish and watch campers climb our wall\nA friendly game of Beeper Kickball\nLunch with campers and staff\nCamper presentations\nAn evening pizza dinner and Talent Show\n\nWhether you’re a longtime supporter or visiting for the first time\, we’d love to have you celebrate our 50th Anniversary with us. The day is very full- registration begins at 8am\, and the day concludes with a camper talent show at 10pm. Lions are encouraged to book an overnight stay at an area hotel as soon as possible. \nRegistration ends at close of business on 13 July.
