Participants can choose between the 5K or 10K course\, enjoying the scenic Savannah surroundings while making a difference in the lives of children with cancer.\n\n\nProceeds from the race will benefit CURE Childhood Cancer\, a vital organization dedicated to supporting local children and families battling cancer.  CURE Childhood Cancer provides financial and emotional assistance while also raising funds for critical research in pediatric oncology.\n\nRegister online at the REGISTRATION LINK by Saturday\, June 1 to take advantage of the early bird rate of $25. Registration fees increase to $30 on Sunday\, June 2 and $35 for race day registration and packet pick-up. An additional $5 fee applies for the 10K race. Packet pick-up will be available on Friday\, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Howe 2 Run and on race morning starting at 6:30 a.m.

DESCRIPTION:Fortunately\, we are working with a grower that does not require us to pick out all of our 575 trees because they are all great quality! \nHowever\, we are still traveling to Jefferson\, North Carolina to meet the grower and strengthen our business ties\, and to ride through the crops that will be harvested for us. \nThis is a long standing club tradition. Because of limited seating in the van\, early committed reservations are required. Travelers will pay for their own hotel by reimbursing Steve for the hotel booking\, and pay for their food. Vehicle rental and gas is paid by the club. \nWe depart from Savannah at 6am SHARP\, and return by 4pm the next day. \n**As of 17 July 2024 there are THREE spots left.**

DESCRIPTION:Our quarterly commitment to help at 2nd Harvest of the Coastal Empire! \nCome have a direct impact on the lives and well being of others. This project directly supports one of our 5 Pillars of Service\, ending Hunger. \nAt 8:45 am\, Lions will meet at the NEW 2nd Harvest location at 1380 Chatham Parkway\, Savannah\, GA 31405. \nAt 9am we will start our 3 hour shift of packing lunches and meals for distribution. Many hands make light work! We packed 2500 meals at our work morning in May! \n
